Basement Job #1
This job could truly use some 'before' photos. It was work space known as a cave, by the owners. Open ceiling kept the spiders coming. there was one small dirty window, and some of the walls had sheet rock, but interior walls were bare studs. the room was about 7 feet longer and full of shelving and supplies of a home based business. A wall was put up and bearing wall doorways were changed to make a storage room. The walls in the storage room were taped and painted, but not textured, and the ceiling was left open for utility access.
The work room was fit with 4 work lights, and a low profile ceiling fan. The ceiling was insulated for noise from upstairs.
Each room was wired with Cable and phone, as well as wired Ethernet through the walls. A dimmer was installed on the fan lighting for possible future use as a family room.
The egress window changed the whole dynamic of the 2 rooms, and were finished in stained hemlock.
The hallway with it's changed and added doors was finished in an exterior stucco type texture. We sanded the rough edges and re- textured in a medium orange peel on the walls and a stamp brush on the ceiling.
The bedroom closet received new bi-fold doors.
